Job Summary

Serves as cloud architect for information security program. Acts as liaison between information security group and information technology architecture teams, ensuring that information security principles are embodied in corporate business and technology strategies; researches, analyzes, designs, proposes, and prototypes solutions to protect firm's information assets while supporting business and technology strategies; holds technical ownership of Application and Technology portfolio as it relates to security.

May participate in the development of technology roadmap, identifying key interfaces and components impacting security posture, proposing changes to application frameworks to enhance security and/or cloud suitability, and identifying security gaps in existing architecture and opportunities for improving architectural security posture; performs systems analysis and design, system modeling, integration planning, and technology and component selection to ensure architectural consistency and coherence between technical and business processes

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

● Looking for someone that has led or helped drive an enterprise AWS migration or program - with lots of design experience for a multitude of layers of security such as cloud encryption, DLP, IAM, secure AMI provisioning, container security, CI/CD security, PIM/PAM, etc.

● Participates in technical and business discussions relative to future security strategy; aligns architectural strategy with business goals and emerging threat landscape; represents information security on all relevant technology governance committees.

● Serves as cloud architecture subject matter expert for information security team; coaches peers and constituents on integrating security into strategic and tactical decisions.

● Provides architectural oversight to security engineering projects and architectural support for other information technology projects.

● Develop the architecture design, implementation strategy and delivery for various AWS security services

● AWS Certified

Qualifications & Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security and 8 - 10 years of experience in multiple IT areas and relevant security architecture experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced or expert knowledge and understanding of cloud (either Amazon AWS or MS Azure) security architecture with experience using cloud capabilities to achieve digital business transformation.

Experience developing architecture in support of relevant regulatory and industry compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GLBA. PCI, etc.).
