Rotunda is seeking a gifted, experienced product designer to help create a new generation of people management software. In addition to a proven talent and passion for crafting exceptional user experiences, this position requires strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a collaborative, ego-free environment.
Our two flagship products are sophisticated scheduling tools actively used by over 3,500 organizations and one million volunteers. Unison, our newest product, is a web-based communication tool for connecting and organizing groups of people with explosive growth potential. The person who fills this position will continue to re-design the installable portions of our flagship products for a web-based environment as well as help design the future of Unison.

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Rotunda's products, users, and business strategy
- Design new interfaces and flows based on well defined needs and user stories
- Develop wirefames, testable prototypes, and high-fidelity, interactive desktop and mobile mockups
- Proactively explore experimental product directions given broad strategic goals
- Leverage and curate a rich library of UI elements shared between three products
- Review user tests and monitor KPIs to judge design effectiveness and inform future decisions
Requirements
- At least five years of experience designing web applications
- A strong portfolio of past projects with elegant, sophisticated user interfaces
- An inventor's enthusiasm for solving meaningful problems
- The ability to express complex systems in simple terms
- An intuitive recognition of visual order and balance
- The ability to collaborate and synergize with experienced product owners and developers
