Just finished up working with a client whose name I can't disclose because of paperwork and NDAs and business and corporate and business....
But trust me, you've heard of them.
I am SHOCKED at how little they know about things like setting up tracking tools, finding their customer’s Aha! Moment, and even simple things like writing a good onboarding email.
The reason I bring this up is that just because a company is big or spending a lot of money doesn't mean they know what they're doing.
If you're copying somebody JUST because they're big, or they're your competitor, or you think "what they’re doing has got to work, they’re BIG!"
A lot of the time, they have no idea what they’re doing.
Be careful with who you model.
