Your primary responsibility would be to develop an iOS player SDK.

Work with other engineering teams and internal stakeholders/customers to design APIs that define our next generation initiative.

Collaborate with backend video teams like ingest, transcode, replication, and mapping teams to improve the video playback experience

Add reliable cross-platform unit, integration, and e2e tests

Write and contribute to technical documents like project proposals and architecture overviews

Keep abreast of current technologies and recent developments in iOS and AV Media Foundation.

7+ years of professional software development or equivalent expertise

Development experience on iOS

Strong proficiency with Objective-C, Swift, and the iOS development ecosystem

Experience with audio/video or graphics on iOS

Strong background in modern C++

Experience with multithreaded programming, object oriented design, and real time considerations

Good communication skills and able to clearly articulate complex problems and solutions

Familiarity with video streaming technologies (HLS, DASH) or codecs such as H.264

Familiarity with networking protocols, either with WebRTC, RTP, SRT, RIST or RTMP

Experience building cross-platform libraries/SDKs and shipping successful software products
