OUR CHALLENGES
We're building the infrastructure for global commerce. We create solutions that range from e-commerce to physical store solutions, but also extend to financial services and even tools to empower partner and customers development team. Among our biggest technical challenges:
- Build services and workflows that are adaptable enough to fit our current and future enterprise demands
- Evolve and scale our infrastructure to keep up with our 50% YOY growth
- Deliver our engineering expertise through our serverless development platform
HOW WE WORK
The Product Team is responsible for VTEX Software development, so we aim to hire bold players only. In that way, we are looking for people who are avid to taking risks, who embrace failure as an opportunity for learning. We look for candidates who love technology, learn fast and who are continuously engaged in improving the customers' development team experience with the company.
As a Product Manager who builds SaaS solutions, you'll get to:
• Build and communicate product vision;
• Being a facilitator to the communication flow between the product/technology team and different areas (Customers, Business, Sales, Care);
• Negotiate and prioritize product backlog to evolve product capability;
• Define boundaries that allow the execution of a project (Team Productivity, Time Management, Budget, Vision, Prioritization and Risk Control);
• Create awareness on product evolution and achievements in a team level;
• Ensure cohesive and value-oriented lean-agile methodology for value creation;
• Build trust and ensure the company's culture within a product division;
• Deliver business and Product KPIs within a development team (5-10 people);
• Run lean-agile methodology on a team level.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF
• Working with our product and learning about commerce sounds exciting;
• You have previous experience as Product Owner, Product Manager or Product Analyst building digital products;
• You are able to design simple solutions to complex problems;
• Working in a team that values initiative and ownership feels right to you;
• You are able to connect people and manage expectations between different stakeholders;
• You have a holistic thinking;
• Has technical skills about the steps of product development to be able to determinate big impacts of decisions made by the team;
• You are able to identify what is the minimum viable product (MVP) and minimum tradable product (MMP);
Even though we have our own process development, we don't require that you have any previous knowledge of it. We’ve found that people who have a solid knowledge about agile fundamentals combined with a growth mindset fit in well at VTEX - and all the people we've found with this profile are proficient in at least one agile software development methodology.

VTEX continues to hire remotely for all on-site roles, all interviewing and onboarding are done virtually due to COVID-19. We have Product Hubs in Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and João Pessoa.
