Responsibilities and Duties- As a Senior software engineer at Musicmuni labs, you will be responsible for architecting and developing major new features/changes in Riyaz, driving key business goals associated with those developments.
- You will play an important part in the product evolution. Starting right from the business objectives, conceptualisation of a feature/change to that effect, all the way till post-launch evaluation of the results - the impact of your work will be felt throughout.
- You will work in a fast paced, collaborative environment with product designers, other engineers and quality assurers all on the same team, working together to build a world class music learning experience that we are proud of.
Key responsibilities
Planning and architecture
- Ability to understand the business goals and relate them with potential product changes/features to accomplish those
- Ability to architect the solution/feature on mobile platforms - Android
- Breaking down complex features into actionable tasks
- Collaborating with other engineers, product designers and other peers to plan and execute the work ahead
Technical delivery
- Writing quality code
- Providing technical documentation for services
- Defining and evolving best practices for development in your team’s area of focus
REQUIREMENTS :
- You have built at least one high quality mobile application and have strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, architectures and best practices
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the android development platform
- Usage of Custom views, Multithreading, REST APIs, third-party SDKs like AWS, Firebase etc are bread and butter in your day to day routine
- Excellent knowledge about integrating C++ code into the native app (JNI/NDK)
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and object-oriented methodologies
- Ability to code in C++ is a plus, but not a necessity
- 5+ years of experience with building native mobile apps on Android can be an added edge, but not a necessity.
