TELECOMMUTE                       LOCATION: Remote, Work from home

DeliverEnd provides on-demand transport services catering to consumers buying and selling on online marketplaces and private sales. We eliminate the in person meetup when buying and selling from online marketplace platforms like LetGo, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and more.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead the development of our android app
• Implement complicated projects with multiple dependencies
• Help establish roadmap and architecture based on technology and our needs

• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Share your knowledge by promoting appropriate tech and engineering best practices
• Help lead large projects from idea to positive execution
• Unblock, support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as an Android developer (Kotlin)
• 1+ years experience tech leading a team of 2-3 engineers
• Experience releasing multiple apps to the Play Store
• Deep understanding of the Android framework and best
• practices when it comes to Android App development
• Experience with a marketplace/ridesharing/mapping startup - can work in a fast-paced environment that requires you to wear multiple hats
• A Product-first mindset
• Unit, integration and regression testing ability
• Bonus if you know how to implement APIs using a Node backend and with deployment on AWS
