About this role
We are looking for a passionate and creative data analyst to join our team. You will work directly with our Machine Learning and Analytics team to support our existing technologies, and build the future of automotive through data-driven solutions. We use a modern stack of technologies to overcome challenges of handling big volumes of data.
This is a full-time remote-only role in a very fun and passionate work environment with a young and exciting team of experts. It’s important that you fit in with the team and culture as we work closely together on a daily basis. Additionally, you must be able to keep pace with the expertise of our team members. We don’t count hours, only work quality/output.
As an Associate Data Analyst you will
- Utilize data to illustrate business trends and identify areas of opportunity
- Conduct analytical research to optimize digital interaction with customers
- Design and deliver reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
- Facilitate A/B testing to aid feature development and validation of outcomes for teams across the company
- Use advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions
- Develop and drive report automations, identify and implement ongoing process improvements
- Research innovative approaches to improve quality of data, analysis, insights, reporting and processes
- Gain experience working in a fast-paced and agile environment
Requirements
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- At least one year of experience in data analytics / data science
- Experience with using SQL and SQL like languages to directly query databases
- Experience utilizing Python, R or other programming languages for data manipulation and aggregation
A Big Plus if you have:
- Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Grafana, MixPanel)
- Knowledge of analytics modelling and machine learning techniques (supervised & unsupervised learning, regression, classification)
- Knowledge of Python analytics-related packages (numpy, pandas, scipy, scikit-learn)
- Interest or experience in solving NLP-related problems
- Experience with column-oriented and/or time-series database management systems such as Clickhouse
- Familiarity with working in a remote environment
This position is 100% remote and only eligible for those who are authorized to work in United States & Canada.
