In this role, you’ll own several of our product areas and core applications. You will have wide-ranging responsibility to identify opportunities and execute on solutions. You’ll be part of a small but mighty team of product managers, product designers, and engineers who are building the best mobile connectivity solution for families and small businesses alike.
Responsibilities and Duties- Own several core product areas and applications.
- Develop roadmaps and maintain backlogs for your areas of ownership through internal and external interviews, executive input, data-driven insights, market research and industry insights, user input, and prioritization frameworks.
- Take the lead on execution throughout the lifecycle from ideation to delivery, from requirements collection to defining specifications, collaborating on technical architecture design with engineers, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, conducting quality assurance, and managing and communicating releases.
- Monitor performance metrics and analyze data to understand usage patterns and customer behavior.
- Drive product design processes from problem definition to high fidelity prototypes in collaboration with our design team; provide wireframes as necessary using tools like Balsamiq or Figma
- Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders; manage stakeholder expectations; and facilitate communication across all involved teams
- Address production incidents and escalations from our Operations and Product Support teams, escalating to Engineering when necessary
- Communicate timelines across teams
- Work with our Growth team to promote awareness and adoption of our offerings and introduce new features to our users
- Proactively identify and analyze compelling business opportunities and enhancements to our feature set
- Identify internal process improvements and ways to standardize or automate steps as we scale our product organization
- Produce documentation when necessary to keep our team informed
We are looking for someone with:
- 1-2 years of product management experience.
- Work experience or educational background in software engineering, computer science, or data science.
- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
- Experience with data-driven decision making.
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UX/UI, growth and marketing, customer research, data analytics.
- Strong written (and verbal) communication skills, evidenced by the ability to communicate technical ideas succinctly and contextually.
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
