About The Role
To further our mission, we're looking for a stellar creative writer who can do a little bit - or a lot - of everything. You have a passion for writing and understand the importance of big ideas. In addition to creating content, media, and marketing materials for the business, you will concept and develop original campaigns, and represent the creative team in presentations. We are looking for someone who provides the work that answers the brief, but also brings fresh and unexpected thinking . You are pushing into new and thought provoking spaces. You express your ideas not just on the page (or screen), but face-to-face. Your work will help establish what great creative is, not only within the walls of DoorDash, but the entire creative industry. We're looking for writers who are excited about digging in and pitching in on all the opportunities that lay ahead. You will report to the Creative Director.
What You'll Do
- Think big while operating at the lowest level of detail
- Operate at a feverish pace while never compromising the craft
- Oversee creative of multiple projects with general direction on goals
- Contribute to an environment that fosters remarkable creativity
- Nurture and lead the development of remarkable ideas, win advocates for great work, and obsess about the effectiveness of creative in market
- You will manage your portion of the work at the project level and ensuring quality output in everything you do
Qualifications
- 5+ years of creative copywriting experience
- An agency background with an established ability to create copy for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries.

- Experience in a range of platforms from traditional to social to online video.
- Equally great at long copy, performance headlines, and social posts.
- Comfortable presenting your work, both internally and client-facing. We want you to produce great work and feel confident expressing your ideas.
- Flex brand tone and voice when applicable. You need to be flex your voice to each project with extreme ease.
- Experience across creative expression and production: traditional, digital, social, experiential, product and ideas that result in earned media
- The ability to sell the unexpected
