We are seeking a Security Automation Engineer to be a part of a remote team. As a Security Automation Engineer, you are experienced at discovering and identifying automation opportunities in process and technology. They should be able to collaborate with peers, contribute to a wide range of applications, and adapt their software to the system they are improving.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for automation across the organization
- Design and implement automated testing for software and various languages
- Run tests for databases, systems, networks, applications, cloud providers, and software
- Collaborate with the other leaders in the organization to understand how automation can improve process and workflow
- Help lead the team to improve development maturity by implementing and curating best practices such as linting, testing, integration tests, and more
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- Professional experience with Python, Node, Go, Bash, and JSON/YAML
- Professional experience with SOAR platforms
- Professional experience working with modern SQL technologies and document stores
- Professional experience with front end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
- Understanding of application and network security
- Experience creating and maintaining automated builds and build systems
- Experience working in modern development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- Enterprise SDLC experience
- Experience setting up and deploying CI/CD systems
- Experience hitting and maintaining high levels of test coverage
Additional Qualifications:- Obtain CISSP, CISM or equivalent qualifications preferred
- Experience with Government customers is a huge plus
- Ability to obtain a government clearance
