Java Software Developer

POSITION SUMMARY: CoreSys is looking for all levels for Java software developers (Associate, Intermediate, and Senior). You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
Note: This position is REMOTE.
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in requirements analysis
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
Write clean, scalable code using Java
Test and deploy applications and systems
Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Improve existing software
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA (or equivalent additional work experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
- Active or Interim Secret clearance ( Must be a US Citizen and possess at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance due to Federal Contracting Requirements)
- Security+ or any IAT II baseline certification
- Proven experience as a Java Developer or Application Developer (3-5 Years desired)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
