We’re growing and we are looking to add a Product Analytics Engineer to our fast-paced and customer-oriented R&D team. 

Location

We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST timezone.

In the Product Analytics Engineer role, you will:

  • Design, create and own best in the world dashboards and reports to clearly convey progress of our most important goals and identify insights through data
  • Create measurement dashboards that will drive decisions and action at all levels of the company, from individual engineers up to major investment decisions by the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with Product, UX and Engineering teams to identify, define, and track key metrics used in monitoring and measuring the success of our product & the R&D team
  • Identify the data needed for a business problem and implement the instrumentation required to ensure availability of data to answer business questions
  • Independently design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes in production
  • Maintain data documentation & definitions
  • Work with our Business Intelligence team to identify trends in customer behaviors that help drive product innovation and development
 

Who you are:

  • Strong SQL skills
  • Expert in at least one programming language for data analysis (ex Python)
  • Experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance
  • Experience extracting data from various systems (e.g. relational databases, API endpoints, data lakes, data warehouses) and tying this to business meaning
  • Ability to perform basic statistical analysis to inform business decisions
  • Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments
  • Experience using version control systems (ideally Git)
