Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Pricing Analyst to supports mission of economic empowerment. As part
of the Hardware Logistics team, you will evaluate carrier rate and routing options and formulate strategies that allow us to
meet delivery expectations within budget parameters. This role will also support the weekly carrier invoice audits,
approvals, and month end close processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical and comfortable working
independently. The role is open to remote but standard working hours are PST.
You Will:
Evaluate rate/routing options while keeping current market conditions, carrier networks and customer
expectations in mind.
Maintain, validate and reconcile carrier invoices to ensure charges are in line with SQ carrier rate sheets.
Assist with weekly carrier invoice approvals which includes fielding billing inquires.
Manage FBA (freight billing audit) vendor via emails and weekly calls.
Maintain visibility and control of carrier rate fluctuations, and communicate to internal stakeholders accordingly.
Evaluate and fine tune carrier claims processes (related to lost or damaged shipments).
Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget review process.
Help Logistics Leads implement key tactics that support pricing strategies.
Work with stakeholders to develop and document new standards, procedures, cost models & evaluation methods.
Develop tools and models that enable efficient pricing analysis.
Find improvement opportunities focused on streamlining existing processes.
Qualifications
You Have:
3-5 years of related work experience in financial and operational analysis, preferably within within the tech
ecommerce space.
Familiarity with carrier networks and pricing offerings.
A robust understanding of global supply chains and logistics workstreams.
Strong Excel skills. Ability to analyize large operational and sales data sets
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and practical problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills.
BA in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or similar field preferred
