US Anesthesia Partners (USAP) is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team, remotely. This position performs daily and month-end ledger close activities related to cash management and bank deposit reconciliation analysis. All new hires must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.



Responsibilities and Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
  • Prepares and analyzes daily/monthly bank statements to USAP postings, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Reviews suspense accounts and goal tracking.
  • Prepares daily posting totals for distribution and records cash deposits.
  • Works with cash management staff relative to billing and collections transactions in revenue cycle management system and accounts for that activity in the master log, as needed.
  • Daily reconciliation of incoming deposits and posting down to batch level
  • Responds to financial inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develops and maintains Cash Management data repository, deposit spreadsheets, and multi-system balance workflow.
  • Assists Cash Management manager by assembling and presenting any requested information necessary for the preparation of monthly statements.
  • Other duties, as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
  • Knowledge of Excel, Access, and Word required.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter and have the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work with others in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills in a lead accounting role
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate degree in business or accounting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle payments from insurance payers is required.
  • Three years of experience in a Payment Posting or Cash Management department is preferred.
