We’re seeking an experienced front end developer to join our technology team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the development of performant and creative websites and applications with a highly collaborative, creative team. You'll contribute to and inform living standards and practices. You should be an expert at crafting creative frontend experiences with cutting-edge web technologies, able to look at any creative web development challenge and add some flair to the result.

This role can be done from Vancouver (relocation available) or 100% remotely from anywhere, PST working hours required.
What’s required:
- 3+ years experience successfully delivering web projects within an digital agency
- Expert at writing semantic and well formed HTML
- Expert at writing modular CSS
- Proficient at writing JavaScript
- Proficient with Sass, PUG/Jade, and NPM
- Proficient with version control (GIT)
- Proficient with current design and prototyping tools (Adobe, Sketch)
- Strong understanding of design and UX
- Strong understanding of cross-platform compatibility
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards
- Ability to enhance designs with complimentary animations, transitions etc.
- Comfortable presenting ideas internally and to client stakeholders
- Excellent time and priority management skills
Your responsibilities:
- Development of websites and web applications on multiple projects of varying size
- Development of systems and standards for existing and future projects
- Collaborate with the project team to develop project plans and project estimates
- Collaborate with the design team during the full life cycle of a project
- Collaborate with the project manager to ensure projects are meeting project plan and timeline
- Collaborate with the QA analyst to develop testing use-cases and testing strategies
- Collaborate with the QA analyst to assess, test, and fix QA issues
