One of the UK's leading technology companies are entering a sustained period of hyper-growth and looking to double their tech team with Data Engineering at the very heart of it. I am currently looking for multiple Mid-Level and Senior Data Engineers with strong experience with Python or Java to grow out a brand-new team.
You'll be delivering a range of complex data projects across integration and applications that directly benefit teams right across the business along with both clients and customers also. You will work across a range of Public & Private Cloud Infrastructure (Kubernetes, GCP, Openstack) and deliver scalable high availability software that will be globally distributed.
You'll have a strong core programming skill in either Python or Java with commercial experience building data pipelines and maintaining automated workflows. Naturally you'll be a clean coder, have a deep knowledge of software standards and practices and be well versed in CI/CD and the use of TDD. Additional experience with Cloud and Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP would be a big plus.
As far as innovation goes, there are not many who are able to compete with this company. Additionally, there is a huge investment from the business into engineering and companywide focus on continued Learning & Development - Certifications, MBA, Masters etc.
