Your responsibilities as Backend Engineer (Python/Django):
As Backend Engineer (Python/Django), you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions for RebelMouse acclaimed CMS platform that reaches over 120 million users (and growing) per month. Your work will never get boring with a healthy mix of supporting big existing systems and also collaborating with exciting experimental projects. Working with our A-team distributed across 28 different countries you will have a huge portion of responsibility for the product’s growth but also plenty of freedom and autonomy to choose how to solve problems.
Required qualifications:
- +3 years of professional experience with Python
- Web development experience
- Good grasp of software design principles (functional or OOP)
- Understanding, experience of TDD / unit testing in general
- General database experience, indexes, RDB, NoSQL, profiling, normalization-denormalization
- Performance optimization experience
- Debugging/working with existing code base skills
- Good English communication skills (good, not perfect!)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of network stack
- Conterization (kub, docker etc.)
- Data Structures deep knowledge
- Understanding performance metrics like CVW etc.
