The Role: Let's get shit done!

The Digital Project Manager oversees day-to-day project activities, including management of the internal team's work and expectation setting through client communication. They are expected to wear many hats, but you are generally responsible for maintaining a scope of work, empowering production staff, and ensuring the happiness of your client. The Digital Project Manager has a unique autonomy to be strategic with decision making around prioritization of work, based on constraints and goals. They're there from start to finish. Ultimately, the Digital Project Manager is holding everything together and getting shit done!

As a part of the Client Success Team, you are central to the integrity and effectiveness of the company. With a smart, experienced, and disciplined Digital Project Manager, Good People Digital will be able to deliver on its service commitments to clients in an organized, efficient, and profitable manner.


The Responsibilities

  1. Build effective working relationships with the Business Development, Marketing, and Product Teams.
  2. Plan, run, prioritize, and support the launch of valuable and profitable projects.
  3. Play an active role scheduling and leading all stakeholder meetings including kickoff.
  4. Support the development of the project vision while managing, and prioritizing requirements.
  5. Work with stakeholders to build the project roadmap.
  6. Actively work to reduce and manage project risks.
  7. Ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process with clients.
  8. Facilitating estimates and collaboration among the Marketing and Product Teams.
  9. Establish and support positive work and client relationships.
  10. Facilitate presentation of milestones/deliverables to the client.
  11. Interact closely with leaders and clients on any issues or questions that arise day to day.
  12. Recommend strategies and solutions to improve capacity utilizations.
  13. Collaborate and communicate regularly with internal team leads on project resourcing, progress, and challenges.
  14. Guide projects through all phases of Good People Digital's project management methodology.
  15. Contribute to the organization of account roadmaps populated with future work projects.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of three (3) years experience in brand experiences, web technologies, and content/media programs.
  2. Cross-Functional Leadership experience in team settings within and/or beyond a technology industry.
  3. Exceptional, empathetic, and approachable written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Exceptional organizational skills including structuring data and managing details.
  5. Mastery of core project management concepts, disciplines, and terminology.
  6. Mastery of project management software, including web-based software.
  7. Mastery of Google's G Suite of products including Gmail, Docs, and Drive.
  8. Proficiency with Agile and waterfall software development philosophies and methodologies.
  9. Proficiency with the MAC operating system and MAC software.
  10. Proficiency with virtual meeting and collaboration software and tools.
  11. Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and similar online systems.
  12. Ability to adapt and respond to changing requirements and emerging opportunities.
  13. Ability to collaborate with co-located and remote team members and clients.
  14. Ability to learn and apply new systems, technologies, and workflows.
  15. Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, strategies, methods, and tactics.
  16. Familiarity with new media concepts, types, channels, and forms of user engagement.
  17. Digital agency experience is highly preferable and encouraged.

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000, based upon experience
