The SEO Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all of our clients SEO campaigns on a monthly basis and optimizing them as needed to achieve optimal results for our clients that produce a positive ROI based on key metrics (GMB calls, website traffic, authority increases, backlink profile improvements, overall visibility, keyword rankings, and other important elements).
You must be experienced and competent with all aspects of SEO from local campaigns (GMB), organic, national, and ecommerce SEO. This position will require an in-depth understanding of the Google Search algorithm and current industry best practices. This role also requires exceptional written communication skills as 99% of all client communications will occur in Slack. In addition you must be available from 8-5 Monday-Friday during normal business hours. Nights and weekends are not required.

Technical Requirements:
- On page optimization (writing title tags, meta descriptions)
- Comfortable using modern web platforms like Worpdress, Duda, Webflow, and others to implement title tags and meta descriptions
- Strong ability to edit H1 tags on clients websites based around keyword strategies per page
- Strong ability to edit existing content to adjust keyword ratios for optimal rankings
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and interpreting data
- Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console and interpreting data
- Familiar with industry-standard software like AHREFs, Moz, MajesticSEO, Keyword Tools, Reporting software and more
- Strong ability to audit a clients website and point out issues for sales opportunities
- Strong ability to pull reporting data and point out key elements to show customer value for improved retention
- Strong understanding of GMB (Google My Business) and advanced optimization techniques
- Strong desire to learn and understand how the industry changes week to week and staying up to date
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee SEO campaigns & implement optimizations
- Analyze data to ensure clients are receiving positive-ROI results
- Setup new clients campaigns in reporting software and initiate internal processes related to onboarding
- Handle all client communications in Slack in a timely manner
- Optimize clients websites including Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, H1 tags, internal linking, schema, and other on page elements
- Provide custom reporting upon client-request in Slack
- Work with internal team to ensure link building, content, and other efforts are executed within our framework to achieve optimal results and provide superior service to clients
- Manage onboarding/offboarding of all clients
- Provide clients with custom reporting feedback on request
- Create schema and implement upon onboarding
- Implement internal linking strategy on all new client onboards
- Implement title tags and meta descriptions on client websites
- Manage setup & management of Google Analytics / Google Search Console
- Providing audits upon client request for potential new clients (breakdown and find issues with potential clients websites, GMB listings, and more)
Experience Required:
- 3+ years in SEO or related field
- Expert in Local SEO
- Expert in National SEO
- Expert in GMB optimizations and latest techniques actually moving the needle
Ideal Candidate:

- Very strong communication skills and can relay value to clients through explanation of various reporting metrics and data to show a strong ROI and position us as the experts
