Technical Project Manager (Mid Level)

Lynton
  • fullTime
  • Posted : 2 years ago

* This is a remote position within the United States.

At Lynton, we don't work in a traditional "office." We don't do the "9 to 5." Instead, we ignore conventional borders for the most qualified candidates to develop superior integrated inbound marketing solutions. Whether you're a website specialist, developer, marketing, or integration expert, we'll provide you the flexibility and support needed to grow professionally and personally. Because when you're happy with your job, your innovative spirit can shine!

Lynton is seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager with a versatile skill set to own the relationships with our clients and shepherd their integration projects through to completion.

This role is part of Lynton’s data integration team that includes Solution Architects, Integration Developers, and Customer Success/Support roles; the team provides consultative, custom solution design that supports marketing and sales teams in a wide range of industries. These solutions tie together business intelligence and marketing/sales software platforms, allowing our clients to maximize the value and use of their CRM data.

In a nutshell, this is part CRM/HubSpot consultant and client advocate, and part project manager (scrum/agile). This is for a real people-person who loves to solve problems for others and who manages (and successfully completes on-time and within-budget) projects without losing sight of the details. A majority of their time will be client-facing (communicating with clients via Zoom calls, email, or phone), while the rest will be internal collaboration and project management. The ability to skillfully negotiate and diplomatically create consensus among conflicting ideas will be of great benefit to the person in this role. The candidate will demonstrate strong leadership when delegating the work amongst the team resources. They should also show a willingness to collaboratively contribute to the growth and success of the company as a whole.

A stellar communicator, our ideal Technical Project Manager establishes and nurtures strong relationships with clients, interprets their business needs and goals, and advocates for those priorities and goals with the rest of the Lynton team. S/He needs to create consensus and understanding around the project roadmap, relying on the recommendations and expertise offered by the team’s Solution Architects and Developers. S/He will closely manage and advise clients on the most efficient and effective use of the project budget, while proactively keeping an eye on where cross-sell and up-sell opportunities can be pitched. The Technical Project Manager is accountable for project outcomes, and therefore oversees the agile development of the solution -- all the way through to launch -- all while delivering a 5-star customer experience.
