What is TourHero
TourHero is a social travel platform that enables anyone to meet like-minded individuals through unforgettable journeys. We're building a platform to help plan unique epic adventures that enables travelers to meet other like-minded new people during their trips.
We are an early stage start-up, backed by the 2 of the largest and most iconic venture capitalists in the world. Currently, we are in beta stage and we are building a strong team to execute this grand vision. We’re looking for someone different - someone with an entrepreneurial heart. About you
- You’re a writer who knows how to connect with Gen Z travelers. You’re an adaptive generalist who can produce great pieces of content ranging from listicles to customers' itineraries. You love travel and loves to provide travel advices to a big audience with clever writing and terrific angles.
- You’ll produce original content for our customers itineraries, TourHero Magazine and email newsletter, and occasionally create content for our social media. Along with generating ideas and writing pieces, you’ll help to source for amazing photos to supplement your content.
- An ideal candidate will be able to generate topics that connect with the moment and turn pieces around rapidly. You can write for a general audience, especially for young Gen Z audience. Above all, you’re about getting results.
- You have amazing work ethics, professionalism and time management skills
What you'll do
- Partner across the company, and especially with the Marketing, Product and Operations teams, to create compelling itineraries that attracts Gen Z travelers.
- Turn the best questions and answers from our communities into user generated content that in TourHero magazine
- Help to research and write in-depth travel and lifestyle article that will strike a cord with our potential travelers
- Source for amazing photos that will bring your writing content to life
- You will be given new itinerary or magazine article to write on a daily basis, you are expected to turn around the written itinerary within the day
What we're looking for
- Fluent in English
- 1+ years of content writing experience
- Ability to work without supervision in a dynamic environment, multitask, and is a self-starter
- Willingness to learn and get your hands dirty
- A traveler at heart
