Brand Designer

Tegus
  • fullTime
  • Posted : 2 years ago

Tegus is the leading market intelligence platform for key decision makers. We power some of the world’s most well-respected institutional investors, corporations, and consultancies through the largest and most comprehensive database of primary and market information. Our products and services enable clients to discover unmatched insights and answers to the most challenging questions they face to help them make better informed decisions.

Tegus is seeking an entry to mid-level, multidisciplinary brand / visual designer to work across all physical and digital touchpoints — from site pages to swag items and beyond. This role presents tremendous opportunity for growth and impact given the small size of the existing Brand Design team, evolving maturity of our brand, unique direct access to senior leadership, and rapid growth of stakeholder teams and Tegus overall. The Brand Designer will report to the Lead Brand Designer who in turn reports to the Head of Design — all within a unified Design org (Brand and Product) that sits within the Product org.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the broader Design org to evolve our brand guidelines and available design resources (assets, templates, etc.).
  • Demonstrate progress and clear prioritization on multiple projects happening in tandem.
  • Create compelling presentation and sales materials (slides, 1-pagers, etc.) using existing guidelines, templates and resources.
  • Create performant ad units and site pages alongside Tegus Marketing through rapid concepting, testing, and iteration.
  • Demonstrate comfort working within and adapting Product Design files for Marketing and Sales needs.
  • Present work and contribute meaningful feedback to peers in twice weekly critiques and weekly working sessions.
  • Build out and document processes and work to maximize scalability and collaboration.
  • Actively participate in personal / career development conversations.
  • Contribute to building and supporting an inclusive, energizing culture at Tegus.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of applicable design experience — in-house experience preferred.
  • Design-related Bachelor's degree and/or portfolio demonstrating equivalent skillset.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Proficiency with remote and async communication and project management tools (Zoom, Jira, Google Suite, etc.).
  • Proficient written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Resilience and resourcefulness under pressure.

Benefits & Perks

  • Remote-friendly - work wherever you're most productive. (Note: this position is not currently open to Colorado residents).
  • Comprehensive medical and dental plans.
  • 401K plan with an employer match.
  • Paid parental leave for all parents.
  • All employees are granted equity through our Restricted Stock Units (RSU) Program.
  • Unlimited paid vacation, flexible work hours, and 10 observed paid holidays per year.
  • Employer funded long-term disability.
  • Fantastic culture with regular virtual company-wide events, including cooking classes, yoga, meditation and more.
  • Generous employee referral bonus program.
  • The opportunity to attend peer-nominated quarterly DEI events.
  • Working for a thriving, performance-based company that values promoting from within, career advancement and transparency.

And for candidates in Chicago:
  • The option to work from a state of the art office in the heart of Chicago’s Loop featuring standing desks, mother rooms, gender neutral bathrooms, subsidized gym access, and full amenity floor.
  • Commuter benefits & a fully stocked kitchen with rotating snacks and beverages.

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Tegus we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
