Actalent's client is looking for a very experienced DevOps Engineer to add to their team. Workspace for Government is a US Government initiative to provide software products to our most sensitive customers. It has a groundbreaking new approach to delivering software products to our customers in an easily consumable platform. Our WorkSpace for Government Team is searching for an exceptional DevOps Engineer with a real passion for building great things and taking on important problems for both the company and our customers. - Become a productive member of our small, highly motivated engineering team
- Have the ability to bring innovation and order to complex technical situations
- Make core technical contributions to software systems enabling customer-oriented secure user-facing web apps
- An ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automation, containerization, cloud services, application deployment, and debugging.

Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Experience leading DevOps-focused Agile teams
Experience and desire to pursue continuous integration and continuous deployment principles
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Proficient in Python or other high-level scripting languages
Experience implementing and operating production systems
In-depth knowledge of:
IAC - Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Helm
Designing, creating, and implanting CI/CD workflows
AWS - Extensive knowledge of AWS Services
Automation leveraging Ansible or similar tooling
Docker with expertise in writing Dockerfiles to containerize and deploy applications
Databases - Postgres, Oracle, Mongo
Nice to have:
Experiencing mentoring and guiding junior staff
Have a passion for documentation
Familiarity with ELK or EFK stack a plus
Interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed
