This is a remote position.
Position Summary: Performs centralized Supply Chain Finance activities including the update, reconciliation, reporting and analysis of bakery inventory balances in support of company-wide Manufacturing Operations.
The location of this role is flexible and can be remote, but must support West Coast hours.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary resource for multiple bakery locations in the coordination, collection and input of inventory related transactions (physical counts, write-offs, miscellaneous issues and receipts, transfers, returns, claims) in the ERP system.
- Validates the accuracy of transactions and account balances and interfaces with bakery and IT support to resolve transaction and system discrepancies.
- Creates MBRW (material balance) reporting, analyzes financial impact of inventory consumption practices (actual vs. standard), and supports bakery leadership in the identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Works in conjunction with bakery personnel to ensure Bills of Material are accurately maintained in the ERP system including floor vs. Oracle set-ups, standard vs. actual consumption analysis and weight control measures.
- Supports product accountability activities.
- Performs ERP system Manufacturing Inventory module maintenance activities including opening and closing periods, scheduling of jobs and validation of system set-ups (Inventory Organizations, Bills of Materials, etc.).
- Supports accounting period closing activities.
- Contributes to special project initiatives on an ad-hoc basis.
