Global Head of Business Finance

Overview
The Global Head of Business Finance, will be a proactive, fast-paced and motivating leader and business partner for our global functions and will be responsible for supporting profitable growth of the organization. Reporting to the CFO, the role will serve as the head finance partner and oversee a team providing finance and analytical support for the US and LATAM commercial businesses, Global Operations/Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality / Regulatory, R&D, and other global company functions (HR, Legal, IT, Finance, etc.).
This position can be remote, work from home, with East Coast time zone preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for finance and analytical support for the above mentioned regions and functions including managing all aspects of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, support for key business decisions, etc.
- Contribute solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses, draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and have a global impact.
- Monitors and forecasts financial performance of the business, creates insights to identify critical issues for the Cordis leadership team, develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with peers and leaders across the globe and fosters a strong network among the finance team within organization.
- Support the presentation of financial recommendations on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.
- Play a key role in supporting acquisitive growth strategies and be a key player in the integration work in the finance and related areas following the acquisitions.
- Support cost improvement strategies, risk management and financial KPI delivery for the company, as well as create a highly value-add modeling and forecasting infrastructure and provide actionable recommendations from data insights.
- Lead the comprehensive planning and reporting processes including monthly financial outlooks, Annual Operating Plans, Quarterly Forecasts, and Long-Range Plans.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of complex pricing models to support short-term and long-range strategic goals and operating budgets.
- Provide support to key stakeholders across the organization as needed and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, required
- MBA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant, high impact-financial experience
- A demonstrated a track record of success in building and leading high performing business finance teams including recruiting, retaining, and developing key finance talent, addressing performance gaps, and designing/optimizing organizational structure to meet the needs of the business
- Requisite expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, planning and analysis, benchmarking and accounting activities
- Sufficient gravitas to influence leaders at all levels within the company and a proven history of working with them to drive superior financial results
- Unquestionable integrity
- A strong team player with proven resilience and adaptability to operate effectively in fast paced, rapidly evolving environment
- Applied experience in a global manufacturing company and/or the healthcare industry preferred
