As Intellum’s Brand Communications Specialist, you’ll support all aspects of the marketing strategy, including brand management, as well as day-to-day internal and external communications efforts in support of building a strong and positive public perception of the Intellum brand and ensuring consistent information transfer and transparency.
You are the ideal candidate if you are a writer at heart, and a marketer by profession that intrinsically believes in the power of content marketing. You understand the process of content creation and distribution and the role it plays in demand generation and brand awareness.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with operationalizing brand positioning and communicating strategies with cross-functional team
- Actively participate in idea generation and brainstorms with key stakeholders to develop integrated and unique marketing campaigns for both prospective and current customers
- Work with internal and external SMEs to create content for thought leadership and social media campaigns that promote the company, products, research, and influence industry position.
- Own and execute email-marketing related communications through newsletters and other campaigns
- Help publish, repurpose and optimize existing and new content that will be the essence of our marketing strategy. Ensuring the content is always interesting, technical, and useful – in addition to being concise and reflective our Intellum’s values and style.
- Maintain a catalog of existing content by solution, topic, format, and where in the funnel it helps most
Social Media Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution and details of Intellum’s thought leadership initiatives and social media strategies including but not limited to:
- Daily social media presence
- Topic moderation
- Ongoing engagement
- Content creation
- Social content calendar management
- Be a top contributor and present in communities where education is top of mind. Curate ideas and deliver them as other campaigns.
- Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze channels to identify key themes, audience sentiment, share of voice, audience interactions, trend opportunities and content creation ideas.
- Maintain account of digital marketing channel performance and recommend optimization and growth strategies based on finding.
- Apply insights from social channels to identify key themes, audience sentiment, share of voice, trend opportunities, and content creation ideas.

Required Skills:
- At least 2 years of relevant marketing experience
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- Great writing and communication skills – clear, concise and solution oriented
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- A "builder" personality: You're biased toward action, a phenomenal collaborator, and master simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
- Grittiness with attention to detail. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
- Demonstrated desire to grow as a marketer by proactively engaging in ongoing educational opportunities
- Naturally positive and open-minded; able to view the world from more than one perspective
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience managing a corporate social media account
- Experience in content creation for a brand (corporate or personal)
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Experience working in or related to corporate education
Education
- Degree in marketing, communications, or related field is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Occasional irregular work hours
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.

- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
