About the Job:
Taulia is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. You will assist with providing financial data to Taulia’s Board of Directors and other key stakeholders, improving current processes, and planning for future fiscal years. You will report to the Director of FP&A.
Responsibilities:- Analysis: Support the financial planning process including evaluating revenue, cost of sales, and operating expense plans with department heads.
- Reporting: Provide monthly reporting of actuals and variance analysis for the senior management team.
- Planning & Budgeting: Become a super user of the planning & budgeting tool to support monthly, quarterly and long-term planning for the entire company.
- Collaboration: Partner with decision makers within Customer Operations, R&D, Product, G&A, and Sales & Marketing to increase forecast accuracy.
- Ad-Hoc Requests: Complete ad-hoc financial analyses as needed (e.g., Business case evaluation, pricing reviews, company metrics, etc.).
Desired Competencies:- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification(s) in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics.
- Prior experience within a technology/financial services company.
- Advanced experience with M/S Office (Excel, Powerpoint), Google Apps (Sheets, Slides, Studio), and analytic tools (e.g., Looker, R, Tableau, SQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with GAAP.
- Experience working with big data sets and driving actionable insights from data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
- Proven track record of success in prior roles/experiences.
