The Role
As a Lumen Finance Analyst, you will provide financial analysis and reporting support to product teams. This includes but is not limited to preparing periodic financial reports, budgets and forecasts as well as developing a deep understanding of Lumen's products and services. This role interacts with Senior Manager / Director stakeholders, and works cross functionally with other FP&A teams to sync on results, provide insight, and drive recommendations.
The Main Responsibilities
- Manage the financial reporting for a group of products, including automated reporting, ad hoc projects, and stakeholder management
- Interpret financial data to determine trends and partner with Product teams to manage their business
- Utilizes multiple systems to bring data together and produce analysis
- Responsible for providing concise and insightful explanations for product movements during the close process
- Develop and maintain driver-based budget and forecast models
- Establish, interpret and analyze financial data including monthly financial results, recommendations or preparing statements for business partners/stakeholders
- Maintain PowerBI based reporting; validate results, make required changes and upgrades, actively suggest improvements that would elevate our understanding of the business
- Generate special ad hoc reports and perform analysis as requested by supervisor, business partners/clients, and other Product stakeholders
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Ability to use advanced Excel functions
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently, both in written and oral form
- Ability to manage multiple projects with different due dates, prioritize workloads, and communicate with leadership effectively
- Natural curiosity

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
