Our UI/UX Lead position is a remote opportunity and candidates must be located on the East Coast
Responsibilities:
- Builds strategic roadmap for team skill set and design approach
- Researches and identifies emerging tools and technology to make UI/UX team more efficient or able to deliver at higher quality.
- Defines problems by using research, sketches/wireframes, visual design, and information architecture to deliver engaging designs
- Understands Human factors and the ways that users think intuitively, so as to incorporate those into the user experience and design
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Deliver functional design, clickable prototype, supporting design documentation (such as wireframes, creative compositions, style guides, etc).
- Lead and participate in design reviews (Wireframes and Compositions) with management, project teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day management and oversight of UI/UX team
- Uses a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience. Analyzes data and client feedback in order to make critical design decisions.
- Be capable of completing competitive analysis of competitor web applications or experiences - Inclusive of Social listening indicators, and feature/function alignment
- Maintain knowledge of latest technology and devices to produce technically achievable and efficient interactive solutions.
- Basic understanding of differences between design for Native-Mobile and Mobile Web with responsive design.
- Works hand in Hand with BA/Product Owner to elicit/generate requirements through discovery, create the solution design, support user story writing, envision feature development, and provide Visual QA during user acceptance testing
- Create final creative visual specs and assets for development resources
Qualifications:
- Has senior-level knowledge in user-centered design principles, visual design, user behavior and interactions
- Expert knowledge of the UI/UX design practices and concepts to create highly interactive interfaces
- Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
- Demonstrate a track record of design, implementation skills/capabilities, design flow and tools using Figma is required
- Experience with Invision, Zeplin and other tools is desirable
- Nice to Have - Experience in Angular or React, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript . Investment acumen like funds, ETF's etc.
