We’re looking for Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team.
Candidate will report to Senior Finance Director. Position requires understanding of internal controls and compliance to policy. Candidate must enjoy problem solving, assisting users and resolving issues quickly. Must have confidence and be a quick learner.
Role is remote must be based in USA
Responsibilities:
- Review of finance processes, including but not limited to general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, expenses
- Proactively create and implement process improvements and controls
- Document and flowchart new processes and controls
- Implement new software systems as required by company plans
- Backup support for Oracle Financial Modules, particularly data management, close calendar and financial consolidation
- Backup for Payroll Processing
- Define and develop financial reports to improve information flow to managers
Qualifications:
- Requires a Accounting degree and 5-7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience with closing books, doing reconciliations, analysis of financial results
- Experience in process improvement development and documentation
- Desire to understand processes across organization to develop efficient processes and controls
- Good problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
