Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our team. We leverage Agile Scrum methodologies to deliver software applications revolutionizing the business of insurance.
- Design and implement high quality technical solutions to provide business value, utilizing object-oriented principles, design patterns, and testing practices
- Collaborate with other developers to assist with implementation of aspects you or your team develop
- Design user-based interactions through effective front-end architecture
- Design and implement RESTful services and APIs
- Integrate with 3rd party APIs
- Collaborate with team members by proactively sharing updates, identifying blockers, and obtaining feedback to continuously improve
- Has the ability to work 100% remotely, or from an Applied Systems office
- 2+ years of professional experience building web applications and web services using C# or Golang
- Front end experience with React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Angular
- Experience with SQL database programming
- Problem-solving skills with excellent logical reasoning and a solutions orientation
- Passion for programming in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Education in Computer Science or equivalent experience
