- 3+ Years of federal IT consulting experience
- 7+ years of experience in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- 5+ years of experience in back-end technologies such as PHP (WordPress).
- Proficient knowledge of WordPress plugins, Advanced Custom Fields for building complex content management on WordPress, RESTful APIs formats (JSON, XML), and task runners such as Linux shell scripts.
- Experience responding to, isolating, and resolving programming problems.
- Experience optimizing new and existing websites for page load speed and minimize server load
- PHP and HTML development outside of WordPress for landing pages, microsites
- Ability to document and convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working responsive HTML pages for tablet, mobile, and desktop with an understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Adhere to our responsive design (mobile first), Accessibility and corporate style guides
- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN, or TFS (Azure DevOps).
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.
- Experience working with federal or other government customer.
- Additional WordPress Or Other LMS Exposure (Blackbaud).
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Willingness to learn new frameworks and development processes
