Manager, Business Development Representative, Traction Complete

As our Manager of Business Development, your top priority is to drive the revenue goals of the company by positioning Traction Complete’s products as essential solutions to protect and grow revenue. You and your team will be the tip of the spear when it comes to initial outreach and engagement with potential customers. You will lead a team of BDRs while maintaining your own quota. Skills:
Tractionites come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from non-traditional backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

  • College or University Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including a strong leadership background
  • Proven success in business development and sourcing prospects
  • Solid grasp of online sales technologies (ex: Outreach, ZoomInfo, Zoom Video Conferencing, Google Suite, etc.)
  • Formalized sales training
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to understand key business drivers
  • Creative, dynamic thinking individual with a demonstrated drive and passion
  • Proven ability to define, develop and implement the outbound sales strategy
  • Experience using Salesforce to track sales cycle

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Generate new opportunities through outbound activity
  • Lead creation and management of outbound sales strategies
  • Prospect companies that fit the profile of our customers
  • Interact with prospects over the phone, email and social media
  • Access multiple buyers
  • Refine and adapt our processes, messaging and sequences to be more effective
  • Sales discovery and qualification
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of BDRs
  • Help set sales goals and motivate team
  • Research prospective customers, create and implement outreach strategies and identify sales opportunities
  • Proactively work with internal and external stakeholders to reach business goals
  • Prepare and deliver sales results to leadership
  • Always using Salesforce to track your sales activities and successes

Specific Targets:

  • Daily outbound activity targets (calling, social media outreach and emailing)
  • Opportunity creation targets (across one or both of our products)
  • Research / prospect identification targets
