We are looking for a Senior Product designer to join our team and help us expand our market presence across the US.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process for our products, from ideation to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define product requirements and develop design solutions
- Conduct user research to gain insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points
- Define and maintain design systems, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and coherence across products
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design solutions
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs
- Work closely with engineers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and meet design specifications
- Continuously monitor and analyze user feedback and data to improve and iterate on designs
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in a technology company
- Strong portfolio showcasing product design work for web and mobile applications
- Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Location:
This role will be based in our Toronto office, but we are flexible with remote work arrangements.
