The Sr Product Designer will lead and design user experience solutions to support one or more product teams. In a zero-to-one environment, the role will require creating solutions rapidly for new and unexplored opportunities. This person will be obsessed with owning the problem, understanding the problem, exploring solutions with stakeholders and users, validating solutions, and showing up strong in our end-to-end product design process. You’ll be an influencer leading and partnering with others on product initiatives and championing the creation of winning solutions. - Lead user experience discovery and design for one or more products to meet or exceed identified OKR’s
- Collaborate to own the problem, success metrics, and solutions to drive business outcomes
- Advocate for an integrated, consistent design across the end-to-end product experience
- Promote a user-centered approach that drives business growth by influencing and educating across the organization about design best practices
- Design end-to-end experiences that involve multiple connected features, use cases, and form factors
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, users, and other cross-functional partners to create best-in-class software experiences
- Lead end-to-end solution exploration exercises to conduct storytelling on existing problems and the solutions to solve the identified problems
- Deliver high-quality designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop experiences
- Employ a range of human-centered design techniques, such as conceptual models, personas, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, to determine and convey design decisions
- 5+ years of experience in the product design of digital products. Preferably experience with marketplace, B2B, or complex products
- 5+ years of experience delivering business outcomes for multiple products
- Deep knowledge of UX design principles and methods, UX research methodologies, prototyping, UX writing, and rapid experimentation to produce business value
- Deep experience in owning the problem, success metrics, and applying lean user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with users, stakeholders, and agile delivery team members
- Mastery of storytelling of problems and concepts through the utilization of storyboarding, wireframing, user flows, and prototyping
- Experience delivering minimal viable products from useful to usable to desirable
- Experience designing for multiple devices and interactions, including mobile (web and native applications), tablet, and desktop
- Demonstrate experience in using design systems to streamline product consistency
- Demonstrate experience in collaboration and design handoff with engineering and quality assurance, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and design prototype specs
- Demonstrate ability to write user test scripts, recruit and screen users, and conduct unmoderated and moderated user testing
- Demonstrate mastery of design and prototyping tools. Figma experience is strongly preferred
- A strong portfolio demonstrating UX & UI techniques applied to product discovery, design, and implementation, and post-mortem analysis on business outcome learnings and next steps
