The Opportunity:
Postmedia is looking for an experienced and strategic Organic Social Media Coordinator to join our expanding team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, developing, scheduling and optimizing organic social campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, twitter and LinkedIn. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from several different verticals. You will also work with clients, sales teams and paid social coordinators on a daily basis.
What you’ll do:
- Work with sales members to understand client goals
- Develop organic social content for various platforms
- Coordinate with clients to ensure that content and strategy are aligned with their expectations
- Schedule content for release and monitor performance
- Optimize strategy
- Work with sales teams and clients to understand their organic social results
- Work with paid social coordinators to ensure a holistic social strategy
- Experienced in the Social Pilot platform, or equivalent scheduling software
- Experience developing content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Agency style experience working with multiple clients and verticals in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in organic social advertising from strategy and design through execution, optimization and reporting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Comfortable speaking with clients and cross functional teams
- Excellent written skills, including writing ad copy in English, French an asset
- Detail-oriented and ensuring quality assurance processes are met
- Experience in Canva and Getty Images or similar technology
- Self-starter, all-hand-on deck attitude
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot, multi-task and problem-solve
- Experienced in remote work including the use of Teams
