The Role:
The content marketing manager will spearhead the development and implementation of overall marketing funnel content strategy. This includes building and maintaining the content calendar, creating a writing process and delivery strategy, writing compelling content that encourages engagement with our brand, ultimately, crafting interesting and well-researched content based on the buyer journey that drives engagement and pipeline.

The right candidate will be an exceptional writer and bring an understanding of the importance of developing impactful content, sharing the content on channels they use, and measuring and optimizing results. Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for content creation to drive engagement with target prospects and customers throughout their buying journey.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet business objectives.
  • Produce high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, email marketing messages, case studies, video scripts, webinar and presentation content, survey reports and web copy.
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company's tone and mission with clean, concise, well-polished copy.
  • Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines.
  • Edit content, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing.
  • Continuously measure and improve content performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective editorial calendar.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product's core benefits properly and consistently.
  • Interact with content collaborators, graphic designers, and team members to create and review all content and ensure consistent message.
  • Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels, including championing the increased use of video and data visualization.
  • Create and manage content collaborators.
Your experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, English, marketing, journalism, or related discipline
  • 5 years of content marketing experience in B2B environment (SaaS preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (written & oral)
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
  • Expertise in content categorization and structure, content development, SEO best practices, channel distribution, and measurement.
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Good collaborator.
  • Good time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptable to different team members work styles and personalities.
  • Prior experience in the learning space is highly desirable
