nTop is hiring an inquisitive, driven Content Specialist to create exceptional written assets for our company. This individual will be responsible for translating the complex concepts fundamental to our design software into accessible language that gets engineers excited about nTop. The Content Specialist must be eager to learn quickly and comfortable working independently. Above all, the person in this role must be an excellent writer, able to quickly produce a variety of assets about our product, brand, and relevant topics in our industry.


This role reports to the Director of Content Strategy.


Responsibilities
  • Write compelling web content, blog posts, video scripts, social media posts, and more.
  • Create advertising copy for social media, paid search, and display
  • Support our sales team with enablement materials, including one-sheets, slides, and email programs
  • Contribute to customer case studies
  • Collaborate with Content Strategy Director to drive quarterly content planning and brainstorming
  • Manage editorial calendar
  • Work with our team of subject matter experts to ensure content is technically accurate and relevant to our customers.
  • Work with outside content agencies and freelancers to create content that meets our standards
  • Assist with social media strategy
  • Closely follow and enforce our written style guidelines.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience working in content marketing or a related discipline like technical writing, product marketing, journalism, or copywriting
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects at once while meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong project management skills
  • Aptitude for forging relationships across functional teams and seniority levels
  • Candidates must submit a writing sample or portfolio to be considered for this role
  • Finalists will be required to complete a short assignment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the software, engineering design, or manufacturing industries
  • Expertise with project management software and/or digital asset management software
  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe design suite
  • Basic knowledge of SEO
