Overview:
The Content Manager oversees the creation and distribution of written thought leadership and marketing content, including blogs, case studies, sales collateral, emails, and website content. This role interacts directly with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure communication and collateral are in line with the organizational brand messaging.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Content Strategy & Development:
- Partner with teams throughout the organization to determine departmental needs and stay abreast of current and upcoming needs to ensure the department is positioned to appropriately and strategically prepare
- Partner with marketing team members to strategize and develop content themes
- Pitch and document content including blogs, case studies, and product spotlights
- Write or assign copy to external partners
- Create content and collateral and share with internal stakeholders
- Oversee the creation of templates with design contractors as needed
- Finalize and distribute collateral materials internally and externally as needed
Content Delivery & Promotion:
- Schedule and promote new content internally as needed
- Schedule and promote all content on appropriate social media channels and determine the appropriate strategy for promotion
- Pitch articles to editors affiliated with industry publications
- Monitor stats and engagement of content on social media sites using Hubspot
- Manage projects from start to delivery and ensure completion in alignment with expected deadlines
- Ensure all communications and deliverables match the brand voice of the organization
- Manage all press releases from development through execution
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others in a diverse, multiethnic, and multicultural work environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, decentralized environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies
- Knowledge of social media best practices and ability to create and deliver on a social media promotion schedule
- Ability to take existing content and meaningfully repurpose it for a number of different channels and mediums of distribution
- Ability to translate technical information into easily digestible content for a general audience
Education & Experience:

Above all, we consider a person’s potential impact in the role and value their unique path to this point in their career.- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field
- 3-5 years experience with campaign management and lead generation
- Content creation experience including emails, white papers, blog posts, website copy, and other thought leadership content
- A combination of professional or educational experience (whether formal or informal) that affords you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities above

Compensation Range:
- $82,161 to $100,419 + DOE
