We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled full-time remote Content Writer to join our marketing team. This key role will play a large part in developing creative content for lead generation and nurturing campaigns for all MPW entities. The Content Writer will be responsible for conducting thorough research on industry related topics, generating ideas for content material, and proofreading content material before publication. This position requires some travel for in-person team and company meetings. The Content Writer will report to the Vice President of Marketing.
- Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
- Organize schedule to complete projects within agreed upon deadlines
- Adhere to industry best practices and company brand voice
- Develop content for integrated, cross-channel campaigns such as landing pages, email marketing, brochures, one-sheeters, eBooks, infographics, blogs, ad copy, social media posts, web content, sales enablement tools
- Collaborate with in-house graphic design team
- Create and follow an editorial calendar and social media content calendar
- Own content creation for the monthly employee newsletter
- Use SEO strategies in writing to maximize online visibility
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or related field is a must
- 3 + years of experience in a marketing writing role
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
