A New York City-based entertainment organization is currently seeking a creative and well-written professional to join their staff Remotely as their new Copywriter/. In this role, the Copywriter (Remote) will be responsible for conceiving, writing, and editing email and other digital communications for the organization's new app.
Responsibilities
The Copywriter (Remote) will:
Write on-strategy, on-time, and exceptional copy for the organization's and its teams/brands to engage with fans across channels and to highlight the value of the DTC product to encourage fans to engage and subscribe
Create messaging that rounds out and drives different drip campaigns and dedicated sends for both for acquisition and engagement/retention efforts
Produce straight-forward copy that provides pertinent information related to users’ subscriptions, while subtly highlighting the value of the product
Shape the voice and strategy of the organization's care operation, including drafting persuasive agent talking points, coming up with action-provoking hold messaging, etc.
Partnering with the Social team to increase engagement through enhanced copy and organize / optimize scheduling template
Collaborate with Creative on larger/splashier OOH campaigns, such as linear commercials, signage/billboards, marketing partnerships, etc.
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in Advertising and/or Brand Creation content
Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Communications, English, Journalism, and/or a related
A strong portfolio of creative that demonstrates originality, innovation, problem solving, and personal expression
Solid problem solving and time management skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized

Experience on a Creative team in Agency and/or Agency-style environment
