The Opportunity
One Medical's product development team is seeking an experienced UX Writer to help create patient and care team-facing software interfaces that are understandable, easy to use, and enjoyable. Human connection and communication are essential to building lasting patient and provider relationships, and our product and the content play an essential supporting role in this relationship. Our goal is to seamlessly infuse humanity into best-in-class healthcare technology and ensure clarity every step of the way.

This UX Writer role will be essential in bringing clarity of communication and humanity to our digital product experience. The position will have a hand in writing for crucial product features and concepts, partnering with the broader teams to improve content clarity and brand expression, and actively driving and evangelizing UX copy best practices for consumer and internally-facing software.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Write and edit human-centered UX copy that helps patients, providers, and care teams understand and successfully navigate One Medical's products.
• Help raise the bar on content quality by providing ongoing copy consultation to team members, ensuring copy is accurate, clear, concise, and consistent with brand tone and voice.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects in parallel across different contexts and fast-moving teams.
• Define and evangelize a UX copy style guide that supports cross-platform best practices and content excellence.
• Partner on research and testing to inform copy decisions and improve overall user experience.
• Engage in initiatives to improve systematic approaches to content management.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on UX/UI design elements related to copy and content.
  

What You'll Need

• Portfolio of writing samples, including interface copy and style guides.
• 5+ years of experience in UX copy or content design for best-in-class consumer-facing products on web and app platforms.
• Solid understanding of product design, content strategy, and UX writing, ideally in the context of consumer-facing Product and Healthcare.
• Ability to execute content projects from the beginning to the end.
• Experience working cross-functionally on multiple projects with Design, Engineering, and Product teams, with excellent collaboration, verbal and written skills.
• Strong editing skills, with attention to detail, and experience setting style guidelines.

This is a full-time role based anywhere in the United States.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base salary range for this role is $95,200 to $161,000 ** . Total compensation packages may be based on factors unique to particular candidates, such skill sets, depth of experience, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, RSUs, and/or benefits
