Reporting to the VP of Direct Sales, the Business Development Representative is responsible for finding and qualifying new business leads as well as following up with mid-market sales leads through various lead and referral sources. As a member of the sales team, the Business Development Representative will promote existing products and be able to clearly communicate Paystone’s products features, benefits, and customer impacts in order to generate interest. The goal of this role is to set up meetings between qualified decision makers and Account Executives. You will build relationships with our users by phone, email a well as social media networking. Your time with customers will be spent coaching on how to get maximum value out of the product, selling product benefits, and solving issues as they arise.
This role is perfect for a sales driven professional who receive the gratification of expanding the business and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate is a “go-getter” looking to take on a more strategic role in their sales career.
