The Pulmonary Sales Manager will have primary responsibility for the sale and utilization of the gas-cylinders that are used with the company's diagnostic system. The Pulmonary Sales Manager will call on Pulmonary physicians, Interventional Pulmonologists and Radiologists. They will need to work cooperatively with the Capitial Equipment Sales Team, Device Technical Support, Reimbursement, and Customer Service/Logistics functions to ensure a positive customer experience in the adoption of the product. The Pulmonary Sale Manager will lead generate, conduct demos, identify, and support new users, and close sales in their strategic geography.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Partner with Capital Equipment Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Logistics/Distribution and Finance to deploy sales plan and secure customers for the utilization of existing platforms.
- Provide competitive intelligence, market insights and continuous feedback and guidance to Sales, Sales Training, and Marketing regarding the commercialization of this new product.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Leadership team to help build, provide input and execute on promotional materials and critical business strategies.
- Embrace the sales vision to enable strategic targeting and execution to targets which are most desirable to the business.
- Establish an actionable pipeline of prospects from the current install base, and prospective customers.
- Oversee the pipeline management for the Area and coordinate with the Capital Equipment Sales Managers.
- Provide solutions to multiple stakeholders in an institution such as IT/EMR heads, Pharmacy and Therapeutics leads, materials management, patient care coordinator, nurses, and pharmacists.
- Help develop and maintain company culture as a member of the Area sales team.
- Develop an overall plan to deliver revenue while and recording key activities and interactions in the company CRM system
- Provide consistent communication to the Director of Sales on a weekly basis that ensures alignment and focus on key business priorities as well as accurate forecasting.
- Establish and maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies to increase the customer base.
- Identify and manage collaboration opportunities with other sales organizations to further the penetration of the company's lung imaging oriented solutions.
- Drive sales to meet or exceed company’s objectives.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to the Director of Sales. They will need to work cooperatively with the Capital Equipment Sales Team, Device Technical Support, Reimbursement, and Customer Service/Logistics functions to ensure a positive customer experience in the adoption of the product.Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5+ years of pulmonary disease sales experience calling on pulmonary physicians +/ radiologists

- Required travel to medical meetings, team meetings, and other group meetings (will require some weekends)
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales goals, and developing key customer relationships.
- Experience selling to physicians teaching a new procedure and selling a new paradigm
- Experience with prospecting for new business and cold calling
- Experience with presenting presentations, cost model analysis, and reimbursement coding.
- Goal-oriented individual who operates on a high sense-of-urgency and drives issues to closure.
- Experience in strategic and tactical sales planning.
- Experience in growing utilization through the current install base as well as identifying/adopting new users.
- Proven experience in technical sales process
- Strong communication skills with organizational presence.
Preferred Skillset
The following skills are not required but highly desirable:- Experience in CT, MRI and/or imaging science
- Experience in a start-up environment
