About You
In this role, you'll be crafting the future of hourly work. You need to genuinely care about hourly workers and employers and about building products that help them thrive. You love being able to connect user needs with business goals, and you obsess over creating simple, intuitive and delightful user experiences. You are passionate about your craft and solving problems and believe that design has the power to make the world better.

What You'll Get To Do

• Partner with other product and UX designers, product managers, developers and marketing strategists to connect the dots between job seekers, hired talent, employers, and our business needs with strong, innovative design solutions
• Bring creativity and innovation to create the next generation of recruiting solutions for the hourly space
• Work cross-functionally with product and engineering partners, participate in design discussions and create world-class experiences
• Create artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, sketches) essential for discovery; participate in discovery and user research sessions; engage our audiences, and ensure design quality
• Leverage research and data insights to frame problems, drive decisions and own outcomes
• Participate in the all aspects of design execution from vision, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and final production
• Contribute to Snagajob's design vision, standards and processes to ensure a consistent, compelling and evolving user experience in a rapid product development cadence
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Experience with user experience and visual design
• Experience with research and human-centered design, demonstrating experience solving challenges with simple user-centered design solutions
• Superior level of craft (typography, interaction, and visual design)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask the right questions, build hypotheses and prove or disprove through evidence-based design decision making
• Ability to multitask and handle ambiguity
• A passion for people, not just design: strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills allowing you to work closely with a cross-functional team
• Intellectual curiosity and drive, and a passion for discovery

At Snagajob, our commitment to being an equitable and inclusive employer is foundational to us, and we believe that pay transparency is a vital component of pay equity. In this role, you can expect to be paid a base salary in the range of $108,000 - $130,000. Full time employees are also eligible for Snagajob's bonus, equity, and benefits programs.
