The Actabl DevOps team is looking for its newest addition! This is not your average Senior Systems Admin role. Actabl is composed of four tech companies merging into one which makes for a fun and diverse ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, virtualization technologies, and cloud infrastructure. The candidate should have experience with VMware and the complete Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, Active Directory, Windows Servers, IIS), as well as strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

The Senior System Admin will be responsible for maintaining and managing our virtual infrastructure, monitoring and maintaining network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure, including VMware, Azure or AWS environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Configure and maintain network devices, such as load balancers and firewalls.
- Ensure system availability and reliability by monitoring system resources and performing routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates.
- Work with other teams to identify and resolve issues related to network connectivity, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that systems meet the needs of the organization.
- Maintain documentation and provide training to other members of the team as needed.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, is a plus.
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI, is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Salary: $92,500-$110,000
