Headlamp is seeking a motivated and creative Remote, Part-Time Social Media and Marketing Specialist. In this role, you'll use your skills to help us create and execute social media campaigns and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive growth, with a specific focus on developing marketing strategies for our employer partners.
A Day in the Life:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc
Define most important social media KPIs and use analytics tools to monitor and improve social media performance
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends
Create engaging text, image, and video content for all social media accounts
Measure the success of each social media campaign and report on social media ROI
Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure a cohesive social media strategy
Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
Monitor user engagement and propose content optimization strategies
Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media
Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies for specific employer partners, working closely with these partners to understand their unique needs and objectives
Participate in periodic stand up meetings to engage with our Career Liaison Officer teams to receive taskings and report on activities
Take part in marketing-specific meetings to develop and refine strategies, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives
Must Haves:
Proven work experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices
Familiarity with web design, publishing, and basic video editing
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
Good understanding of social media KPIs
Great leadership skills, excellent multitasking skills, good time-management skills
Be a critical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
This is a remote, part-time position (up to 20 hrs/week), Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm EST. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and equipment is not provided.
