We are seeking a Business Development Representative who is passionate about driving growth and forging meaningful partnerships. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding V2's reach and maximizing revenue opportunities. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients, nurturing relationships, and assisting with closing deals. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop innovative strategies as well as stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights for our business expansion efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- New lead generation via identification and research of potential customers, outreach strategies development, relationship building, campaign management, and prospect follow-up
- Identification and research of potential customers that fit V2's client profile (leveraging tools such as LinkedIn, data analytics software, and others)
- Outreach strategy development to connect with prospects via email templates, cold calling, and social media platforms
- Sales pipeline management and oversight that leads are properly tracked and followed up on in a timely manner
- Strong relationship building with potential customers by understanding needs, pain points, and challenges via effective communication of V2's services value proposition
- Management of prospecting campaigns, to include tracking and analyzing metrics, adjusting outreach strategies (as needed), and reporting campaign successes to the sales and leadership teams
- Follow-ups with prospects to keep them engaged, ensure their movement through the sales funnel, providing additional product information, and answering any questions prospects may have
- Support of V2 sellers through coordination, updating Sales Team on activities to ensure ongoing activities align with the organization's strategic roadmap, and leveraging Sales Team's support during the sales cycle
- Close partnership with the Sales Team to ensure leads are properly handed off and the sales process is streamlined and efficient
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, updating contact information, and creating reports
- Provisions to sellers with insights into customer needs and preferences when necessary and improvements to overall customer satisfaction
- Support of potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities via tracking of client needs (and keeping an eye out for new services or products that might be a good fit)
- Lead data management and keeping track of all interactions with said potential leads through the Salesforce CRM
- Effective collaboration within members of V2's MASS Team who oversee Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Alliances, and Sales Operations activities
- Brainstorm strategies and tactics to be leveraged across all MASS areas to meet, or exceed, revenue targets
- Frequent and authentic communication with MASS Team peers
- Support in the evaluation of needs for new sales and marketing collateral for new top-of-funnel generation
- Successful partnership with the V2 Marketing Team to devise and execute an MES-centric strategy
