We’re looking for a quality-minded, passionate senior-level Product Designer to join our remote team and make a change in how people perceive dating, sexuality and relationships.

This is a UI-focused role. You will be owning the product’s looks and the design system, collaborating on the design of our apps, and paving the way to delivering the smooth and flawless experience our members deserve.

What you’ll do:

Your mission is to take our product to the next level: help craft an interface which truly makes a difference, and provide a pleasant experience in collaboration with passionate humans working to redefine relationship norms.

You will be ready to hit the ground running. Within the first few months, you will have built a good understanding of our product and customers, of our market and internal processes, and will understand and navigate the Feeld aesthetic. You will also:
  • Grasp and take over our design system, evolving it as you see fit
  • Deliver functional and aesthetically rich interfaces, translating brand guidelines onto product principles and visuals
  • Understand our frontend architecture in a way that allows you to experiment and prototype components in code, and collaborate closely with engineers to rebuild them solidly
  • Build a vision for how product design within the company should evolve based on the knowledge you’ve built of our customers
  • Collaborate with the team (a head of design and two product designers) to discover and deliver the right features for our customers

About you:

  • Strong experience as a product designer of a successful mobile product; both in new-to-market feature launches and optimizing an existing product
  • Experience with building and maintaining scalable design systems in Figma (Sketch and Abstract experience also a bonus). You're comfortable with native iOS and Android semantics, and preparing layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and localisations.
  • Passion for creating scalable, innovative, and accessible visual systems and guidelines instead of individual screens, taking into consideration cultural, behavioral, and emotional factors
  • Eye for detail and drive for shipping fantastic experiences
  • You care sincerely for delivering value to customers and you can articulate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Experience working with research departments and gathering user feedback from users (be it through interviews, prototypes, user testing, or customer support)

Bonus points:

  • Experience working remotely and asynchronously
  • Good understanding of software development and experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with consumer-based products
  • Experience with mobile accessibility and inclusive design
  • Interest in human sexuality and alternative relationship models

That is why we offer:

  • Open and transparent salaries
  • Baseline Freedom Salary of £60,000 per year for all roles
  • The base salary for this role is determined by Level and Step, as well as geographic location, but we estimate that this role can earn up to £95,000 based on the requirements listed in this job description.

Our interview process:

  • Your first conversation with Feeld will be a screening call with our recruiter, where you’ll be able to ask - and receive answers - regarding any general questions you have and to confirm the role is a fit for what you’re seeking.
  • Your second conversation will connect you directly with the hiring manager for the role you’re applying to. Here, you’ll have a chance to ask more questions about the work you’ll be doing. This conversation will also focus on your past work experiences.
  • The next step for most of our roles is a candidate challenge. This is an evaluation of the skills relevant to be successful in this role and generally takes about an hour to complete.
  • Your third conversation allows you the opportunity to meet the team members you might be working with on a daily basis. Here, you’ll be able to ask questions about team processes, workflow, and the employee experience at Feeld.
  • We generally make an offer within 2 weeks of our final call, and offer a flexible start date that can begin as early as the next Monday after you sign our offer documentation.
  • Of note: all of our interviews are conducted remotely, and our interviewers will work with you to find an agreeable interview time based on mutual availability.
